Using a single use cup, regardless of whether it’s compostable or has pictures of dolphins on it, requires significant use of natural resources and energy to manufacture, transport, use and dispose of. Single use cups are responsible for significantly more waste and climate emissions than using a real cup. Each time we drink our brew from a single use cup, we consume hundreds of thousands of micro and nano plastic particles (and other toxins). A single use cup is used once for about 2 minutes and binned. Our mugs are pre-loved and have been used over and over for years, with many more to come.
Why Mugs? Because someone has already loved these mugs, got up and sipped on their morning cuppa from them and drank peppermint tea to help them sleep, that means that to give them a new life takes no extra energy, no resources from our world to produce a new product. Mugs have character, they are all a bit different, some are quirky, some are classy, some are bright and cheerful and some are serious, they add that character to a café or business, they let your customers express themselves and they also tell your customers that you care about our impact on the environment.
